Lexus LFA
Prix Est: 1.4m – 2m, depending on model and features
The Lexus LFA (often referred to by its development code LF-A) is a legendary, limited-production two-seat supercar that stands as a technological and performance showcase for the Lexus brand, it is celebrated for its exotic materials, incredible high-revving engine sound, and exceptional chassis rigidity. The car’s structure is revolutionary, built around a bespoke Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) chassis/body (comprising 65% of its mass), with aluminum used for the subframes and suspension components. This construction resulted in a remarkably low curb weight (around 1,480 kg) and exceptional rigidity. Due to the V10 engine’s rapid revving speed, the LFA used a unique digital instrument cluster (the central tachometer was digital) because a conventional analog needle could not keep up with the engine’s speed from idle to 9,000 rpm.
